Recruiting Updates

There was more smoke with regard to the NCAA-CHL recruiting saga this morning as Scott Wheeler of the The Athletic reported that BC is in the hunt for Caleb Desnoyers of the Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL). Wheeler tweeted that BC has “lots of interest and has made trips to Moncton.” While I am highly skeptical of a bunch of the big time hockey reporters, Wheeler is plugged in- he would not just send off this tweet. Desnoyers is, obviously, a huge prospect. In his mock draft from earlier this week, Wheeler rated Desnoyers, a center, as the #5 prospect overall.
